Following information provided by the local community the Tottenham Green Safer Neighbourhoods Team executed a search warrant on a property in N17.
The Safer Neighbourhoods Teams now offer walk in "surgeries" each month.
A project originally run as a pilot on Haringey Borough, for four weeks was launched on 4th August 2008. This sees each Safer Neighbourhoods Team in Haringey having their own web page.
Three roads in Haringay Ward, known as 'The Ladder' have been targeted by burglars.
St_Anns Safer Neighbourhoods Team, in partnership with Haringey Council, has secured an extension to the dispersal zone around West Green Road.
Police Sergeant Iain Williams along with his SNT colleagues were commended for their professionalism, dedication to duty and leadership skills in working to bring about a real positive difference to the people of Tottenham Green Ward.
Police carried out raids in N17 on 25th September, following intelligence to suggest the sale of illegal drugs, money laundering and the handling of stolen goods.
